Leandro R. Dames qualified as a lawyer at the Argentine Catholic University of Buenos Aires, where he also graduated with honours.
From 2000 to 2001 he was assistant professor of Business Law at the above-mentioned University and was awarded the Premio Colegio de Abogados de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires a la Excelencia Universitaria, as well as the Premio Editorial El Derecho. He has a master’s degree in International Relations Europe-Latin America from the University of Bologna.
In 2002 he joined the Estudio Dames | Abogados and in 2003 M. & M. Bomchil, where he specialised in Antitrust and Competition Law.
In 2006 he joined the firm Pastoriza, Eviner, Cangueiro & Ruiz Abogados focusing on different aspects of law, including capital market, banking, and international financing. In 2008 he founded DFG Abogados and since 2017 he has been working with the Italian firm LegalFor, with which he has closed a partnership agreement.
He is a member of the Bar Association of Buenos Aires and of the city of Azul.
He is fluent in English, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.
